A readthrough of Jim Pentney’s script, THE SQUINT. Warming up for the completion shoot of EIGHTEEN it was fun to be at the very early stages of film preparation, where the text needs adjustments and the scenes are theoretical. Good to meet film-man Tom Jordan, and hear a little of Gloucester’s history from Rose, ‘God is in Gloucester’ – even if she did resist an Australian accent.
